Consignment

At Heartbeat Hire we offer a Consignment Program which means that we hire out pieces on your behalf.

If you are considering our Consignment Program and you would like to understand more we have listed all of the necessary information you will require below for you.

Garment Requirements

  • Hire garment must be at a minimum RRP of $200
  • Must be in near perfect condition with no faults or flaws
  • Must be dry cleaned before handover to Heartbeat Hire

Consignment Program Service Inclusions

  • Uploading the garment to instagram & our online store
  • Advertisement of the garment
  • Hire Bookings 
  • Conversing with customers
  • Collection & Return
  • Try on appointments
  • Cleaning / Dry Cleaning
  • Ironing / Steaming

Profit Received From Hire

  • Once your garment has been hired by the customer there will be a split made and you will receive 40% of the total hire price and HH will receive 60%.
  • Each month the profits made from your garments will be transferred into your elected bank account details.

Possession of Hire Garment

  • We will store your hire garment in our studio. This way we can quickly organise bookings for your hire garment and allow customers to try on.
  • We will not take any hire bookings until garment is received.

Garment Damage

  • All hire garments will be treated the same as our own in how we approach a damaged garment. 
  • All customers are required to agree to our terms and conditions which do state they are responsible to pay for damages, repair, replacement.
  • The customer will be invoiced the appropriate amount. There is a risk that the customer will not pay the amount which unfortunately does come with hiring garments for all hire businesses. Hills Dress Hire will not be responsible to pay on their behalf.

Withdrawal from Consignment Program

  • You can withdraw at any time with no cancellation fees, as long as the garment doesn’t have an upcoming rental.
  • If you have an event, you can let us know and we will reserve it for you.
